My last post was about being unmotivated and uninspired by the facts that I wasn’t getting the results that I wanted even though I was putting in the work.
And over the past couple of days I have been a bit of an unintentional theme round all the media I have been consuming and the conversations I have been having after I wrote that post. And this theme was ‘You’re focusing on the wrong thing’.
I didn’t start his blog to have tons and tons of numbers so was was it all of a sudden so important to me? In the same vein I didn’t realize that all those number are people that have taken the time to read something that I created.
So I made a decision that I am not going to look at my stats anymore, because this is something that is out of my control and the time I spend staring and thinking but them could be much better used.
I am a big believer int he idea that everything happens for a reason. The signs are there and sometimes they might not tell you what you want to hear, but you should always listen.
